VidyaKavach is a school platform for Indian K-12 schools, built by Technosys IT Management Pvt. Ltd. in Patna and New Delhi.
Why VidyaKavach exists
VidyaKavach means “shield of learning”. It began as student health insurance for Indian schools: medical cover for the child, and school fee protection if a parent passes away, so that a family tragedy does not also end a child’s education.
Working with schools showed us a bigger pattern. The families at risk of losing a child’s schooling to a medical emergency were the same families struggling with fees, missed homework and a school they could only reach through crowded WhatsApp groups. The schools that needed cover for their students also needed a better way to run the office and talk to parents.
So VidyaKavach grew into one platform for the whole problem: a complete school management system, an app for parents, learning games and an AI tutor for children, a yearly health check-up, and student protection, all in one package for the school.

How we work
Children first
No advertising to children anywhere in the app. Anything bought for a child is bought by a parent, from the parent’s own login.
Data only for those who need it
A teacher sees the classes they teach; the accountant sees fees, not marks; a parent sees only their own children.
Plain about limits
We say what is not included, such as dental and eye tests in the check-up or live GPS on the bus, on the page, not in fine print.
Licensed partners for cover
VidyaKavach is not an insurer and not an insurance intermediary. Cover comes from licensed insurance companies.
Built for Indian schools
Indian boards and fee structures, Hindi as well as English, and an app that works on the phone number the school already has.
Nothing extra for the school to run
The school does not collect forms or process claims. Families claim directly; the office keeps teaching.
